Bamboo Fences for Every Type of Yard

Bamboo fences are becoming more and more popular. Last weekend, I read a huge article in the Sunday paper about the ecological effects of bamboo fences. This article claimed that bamboo fences are a much smarter decision for homeowners than wooden or plastic fences. Yesterday, I received the latest issue of my favorite home and garden magazine in the mail. This magazine also featured a long article about bamboo fences. It seems that bamboo fences are becoming all the rage. This article discussed all the different ways bamboo fences could be used to spruce up your house or garden. This article also mentioned that bamboo fences are a great way to camouflage things in your yard that are unsightly, like air conditioner units or above ground natural gas tanks. After reading both of these pieces of literature about bamboo fences, I decided that I wanted to change my old wooden privacy fence for a new bamboo one.

No One Likes Unwanted Guests

The other night I was sitting at my computer and I started hearing a gnawing sound. The sound came from underneath my kitchen stove. I was worried that something was wrong with my stove because I had just turned it off after taking a pie out of the oven. I stopped hearing the sound after a few minutes. Then about ten minutes later I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. When I turned to look, I spotted a mouse running on the floor along the bottom of my cabinets. I’m not sure where he went to, but I do believe he ran underneath the dishwasher. Since then, I have not seen him or any evidence of him, but I have made an appointment for exterminators to come into my home to locate him and his family and get rid of them. My grandmother used to say that fish and guests both stink after three days, but that did not include this type of unwanted guest.

Also, remove the batteries from the lawn mower in case you need to store the device for a long period of time. Before you start mowing the lawn, take some time to inspect the surface of the area to see if any foreign materials like hoses, kid’s toys or dog bones are lying on the lawn. Remove such materials before you start mowing. Once you are done with mowing, make sure that you don’t leave your cordless lawn mower outside. Snow, rain, sleet and hail can cause damage to the device and reduce its lifespan. This can easily be avoided if you keep the lawn mower under some kind of shade.
